Patient Assistance Grants Back to top ↑

We are pleased to announce a grant fund that has been established to assist cancer patients encountering extraordinary medical expenses. Cancer Care NCW is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization established in 1993 to provide assistance to patients who have been diagnosed with cancer.

Recently diagnosed cancer patients and those currently under treatment from Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Okanogan counties may also apply for a grant. Approved grant monies will be disbursed to the provider of the services that are needed, such as a pharmacy, medical facility, etc.

Please fill out the application completely and include copies of invoices to be paid and mail to the address below. The Grant Committee will review applications and applicants will be notified within 4 weeks.

Betsy Tontini Nursing Scholarship Back to top ↑

We offer academic scholarships through the Community Foundation of NCW.
Available for Students in:

High School, Running Start, College

No. of Awards:

One or more

Amount:

Determined by committee (will distribute $3,000)

Eligibility:

  1. Graduating senior of a Chelan or Douglas County High School or a current Wenatchee Valley College student
  2. Plans to enroll or is enrolled in the nursing program at Wenatchee Valley College
  3. Minimum 3.0 GPA
  4. Demonstrates proven leadership ability by participation in community service and extracurricular activities
  5. Demonstrates a significant chance of success
  6. Demonstrates financial need

Renewal:

Possible after acceptance into the nursing program. Must reapply and will compete with new applicants.
